En ce premier jour du dernier mois de l’année, je vous présente à tous mes meilleurs vœux de joie, réussite et santé en 2015, passez également de belles fêtes de fin d’année, entourés de vos amis à 4 pattes !

Je vous donne rendez-vous en 2015 pour de bons moments conviviaux et pour le plaisir de nos whippets lors d’entraînements au cynodrome d’Awans. Je reste disponible pour divers renseignements et suivi...

Mon Champion de gamin « Celtic Free Hunter » participait avec « Hunting Free Klinton » et « Hunting Free Lord » au dernier coursing de l’année, sur un petit (mais beau) terrain, à côté du cynodrome de Beringen : ce qui changeait du parking (avec les nombreux arbres) utilisé d’habitude. Il est toutefois regrettable que des points du règlement international sur la sécurité des lévriers ne soient pas respectés et qu’aucun officiel ne s’en inquiète : certes il n’y a eu aucun blessé car le sol humide du terrain permettait à certains lévriers dont souvent des whippets de belles glissades, volte faces ou croisements limites avec le concurrent, mais imaginez le même circuit sur sol sec ! Sans oublier de trop petites distances entre de trop nombreuses poulies, de ridicules lignes départ arrivée, longeant les bords du terrain : nous avons évité le pire ! Je ne parlerai pas des résultats qui sont le reflet d’un circuit ne mettant pas en valeur toutes les qualités de chasse ! Je regrette qu’un « whippet » (pitbull par son attitude à l’arrivée) finisse dans les meilleurs !

Pour la première fois, aucune femelle « Hunting Free » ne participait à ce coursing et cela se confirmera certainement de manière générale dans les mois et années à venir car après réflexions et observations, je confirme arrêter l’organisation et la participation aux compétitions canines ainsi que l’élevage, de manière provisoire voire définitive ! Je tiens à remercier ceux qui m’ont fait confiance ! Bonne continuation !

Je terminerai par la triste nouvelle du décès de « Hunting Free Codybill » dit « Bibill », à la suite de l’ingestion d’un corps étranger, malgré les meilleurs soins reçus ! Courage à ses maîtres Béatrice et Didier !!

My Champion kid "Celtic Free Hunter" was entered with "Hunting Free Klinton" and "Hunting Free Lord" in the last coursing of the year on a small (but beautiful) field next to the Beringen racingtrack: that was a change from the ground (with many trees) usually used. However, it is regrettable that some points of the international sighthounds safety regulations weree not respected and no officials cared: indeed there were no injuries because of the moist ground which allowed some sighthounds , often whippets , beautiful slides, flip sides or crosses boundaries with the competitor, but think about the same circuit on a dry ground! Not to mention too small distances between too many blocks, ridiculous starting and arrival lines, along the edges of the field, we have avoided the worst! I will not speak of the results which reflect a circuit not highlighting all the qualities of hunting! I regret that a "whippet" (pitbull by his attitude on arrival) finished in the top!

For the first time, no "Hunting Free" bitch was entered in the coursing and it certainly confirm generally in the months and years to come as, after thoughts and observations, I confirm that I quit the organization and participation in competitions and breeding, temporarily or definitively! I want to thank those who have trusted me! Good luck!

I conclude with the sad news of the death of "Hunting Free Codybill" said "Bibill" following ingestion of a foreign object, despite the best care received! Courage to his owners Beatrice & Didier !!

Voici quinze jours que « Hunting Free LightMoon » (Foxie) subissait une grave opération : les fils enlevés, la longue convalescence continue. Merci à ceux qui nous soutiennent au quotidien, aussi de France !

Au Championnat du Club à Awans, l’élevage et amis ont passé une excellente journée conviviale mettant à l’honneur comme chaque année nos jeunes, nos retraités de 8 ans, nos vétérans… avec de nombreux cadeaux du club ainsi qu’une course amicale des licenciés en coursing, montrant leurs capacités à courir une finale de racing à 4 ou à 6 partants. Merci à tous pour votre présence : un beau souvenir ! Nat&Co.

At the Club Championship in Awans, the kennel and friends have had a great fun day honoring, as each year, our juniors, our 8 years retired, our veterans ... with many gifts from the club and a friendship race for the lure coursing licenced,showing their ability to run a racing final with 4 or 6 at start. Thank you all for your presence: a beautiful memory! Nat & Co.

Our club organized this weekend an international lure coursing competition for the 1st time in Gesves (near Namur) on a beautiful ground of 10 hectares : the best result is for Hunting Free Klinton (2nd &   RCACBL RCACIL) !!! The young Dixietown Fia Jansson finished 10th with two great races and two final very powerful lure catches !!! Congratulations to them and to other "Hunting Free" & related present !!!

Week-end chargé pour l’élevage, pendant que certains ont participé au coursing national organisé par Westerlo où le meilleur résultat est une médaille de bronze pour mon champion de gamin « Ch. Celtic Free Hunter », aimablement starté par Jean-Pierre, je me suis rendue avec « Dixietown Min Egen Metod » à l’Exposition internationale du Luxembourg où elle y termine 1^ère excellent & CACL en classe travail, ce qui lui permet d’obtenir le titre de Championne de beauté du Luxembourg (en cours d’homologation) ! Elle le mérite, après 2 RCACL, 2 CACL et des chiots au printemps ! Félicitations « Malva » ! Merci « Jenny » !

Busy weekend for the kennel, while some have participated in the national coursing organized by Westerlo where the best result was a bronze medal for my champion kid "Ch. Celtic Free Hunter" kindly started by Jean-Pierre, I went with "Dixietown Min Egen Metod" at the Internationaldog show of Luxembourg where she finished first Excellent & CACL in working class, which allows her to get the title of Luxembourg Champion (pending )! She deserves it after 2 RCACL, 2 CACL and puppies in spring! Congratulations "Malva"! Thank you "Jenny"!

Ma Multi Championne « Hunting Free Chelsea » dite Kenza (mère des « I ») s’en est allée rejoindre son amie d’enfance disparue il y a peu et sa mère disparue il y a 1 an ! Une chienne d’un très haut potentiel de course, malgré sa silhouette très fine de véritable lévrier. Je garderai en mémoire 3 beaux souvenirs partagés avec elle ainsi qu’avec ses frères champions et sa mère : d’abord lors du Coursing international de Fleury en France où elle comme son frère ont concrétisé leurs titres de champion sur un terrain et une prestation dignes d’un Championnat d’Europe (selon le juge) ; ensuite, un voyage inoubliable avec sa mère et Catherine (Stockholm, le bateau entre Suède et Finlande, les forêts, les lacs : dépaysement garanti… !!!) pour le Championnat d’Europe en Finlande, où il fallait préférer le bleu…;) et enfin, un défilé médiéval dans les rues de Huy entre chiens loups et rapaces. Adieu « petite mère », je vais cajoler encore un peu plus ta fille adorée « Hunting Free Isatis » (Zabou) pour qu’elle supporte le mieux possible ton absence !

My Multi Champion "Hunting Free Chelsea" named Kenza (mother of "I" litter) has gone to join his childhood friend disappeared not long ago and her mother disappeared one year ago ! A bitch with a very high racing potential, despite her very slim silhouette of real sighthound. I will keep in memory 3 beautiful memories shared with her and her champions brothers and her mother: first at the International Coursing of Fleury in France where she and her brother concretized their championships on a ground and with a performance worthy a European Championship (as said the judge); Then, an unforgettable journey with her mother and Catherine (Stockholm, Sthe boat between Sweden and Finland, forests, lakes,  guaranteed change of scenery... !!!) for the European Championship in Finland, where the blue was preferred ...; ) and finally, a medieval parade through the streets of Huy between dogs, wolves and birds of prey. Goodbye "little mother," I'll still cuddle a little more your beloved daughter "Hunting Free Isatis" (Zabou) so that she will support the best possible your absence!

Exposition Ouverte à Polleur, organisée par le Club Royal Belge des Lévriers sous les jugements de Mme Delabelle : toujours une excellente organisation par les bénévoles de Polleur et du CRBL, malgré une météo parfois très pluvieuse comme ces dernières semaines et qui avait rendu le sol boueux ! Quoiqu’il en soit, l’élevage Hunting Free et amis s’étaient réunis pour rendre hommage aux 2 frères Multi Champions « Hunting Free Dinky & Hunting Free Dragon », par la présentation de leurs descendants dont la plupart sont aussi Champions voire Multi Champions tant en beauté qu’en travail !!! Un grand merci à tous pour votre présence ainsi que celle de leur amie d’enfance la Saluki « Djamila Min Al Asifé » toujours aussi élégante malgré son manteau laineux de vétérane qui fut appréciée outre cela : 1^ère EXC & 3è BIS Vétéran !

Open show in Polleur, organized by the Royal Sighthounds Belgian Club under judgments of Mrs. 
Delabelle: always an excellent organization by volunteers of Polleur club and CRBL despite sometimes very rainy weather as in recent weeks and that made the ground muddy ! Nevertheless, kennel Hunting Free and friends had gathered to pay tribute to two brothers Multi Champions "Hunting Free Dinky & Hunting Free Dragon" by 
presenting their descendants, most of whom are also Champions, indeed Multi Champions, both in beauty and work !!! A big thank you to all for your presence and that of their childhood friend the Saluki "Djamila Min Al Asifé" still elegant despite her woolly veteran coat who was appreciated besides this: 1st Exc & 3rd BIS Veteran !

Première participation à un Championnat d’Europe de Coursing (I) pour le jeune Hunting Free Klinton qui a dû malheureusement être retiré pour la seconde manche suite à une chute le matin près d’une botte de paille mais heureusement il était juste étourdi et pas blessé, mais dans l’impossibilité de prendre le second départ dans de bonnes conditions. Ce fut convivialité et bonne ambiance malgré des terrains avec de nombreuses cuvettes et dénivellations inhabituelles qui se jouaient des concurrents suivant où ces derniers passaient. Ce fut le cas pour l’excellente Hunting Free InExcess qui chuta dans un trou, en plein virage et à pleine vitesse dans le terrain de l’après-midi, mais l’important est que les 2 représentants de l’élevage ne se soient pas blessés. Pour finir, nos pensées vont à l’élevage de PLI français : courage !! 

First participation in an European Lure Coursing Championship (I) for the young Hunting Free Klinton who unfortunately had to be removed for the second round after a fall in the morning near a haystack, but luckily he was just dizzy and not injured, but unable to take the second start in good conditions. It was friendly and in a good atmosphere despite grounds with many ditches and unusual depressions which played with the competitors regarding the way they went through. This was the case for the excellent Hunting Free Inexcess who fell into a hole, right in the middle of a turn and at full speed, in the field of the afternoon, but the important thing is that the two representatives of the kennel were not injured. Finally, our thoughts go to the breeder of the french Italian Greyhound: Courage!

Exposition spéciale de races lévriers au Luxembourg, dans une très belle région touristique, sous un beau soleil, y était présentée la mère de la récente portée : Dixietown Min Egen Metod, qui obtient 1er EXC CACL et qui a beaucoup plu au juge Mr Vanaken (B), voici son commentaire : « Ravi de trouver en classe travail un sujet de haute qualité : un excellent compromis entre la fonction et les qualités de la race » !!

Dernier coursing belge pour la sélection du Championnat d’Europe, Hunting Free InExcess (femelle) et Hunting Free Klinton (mâle) représenteront notre pays en Italie fin juin, félicitations à vous deux ainsi qu’au copain de Hunting Free Klinton dont je co-organise l’entraînement au quotidien et à tous ceux de toutes races qui représenteront la Belgique ;) Voici la photo du jeune Hunting Free Lord qui progresse à chaque épreuve, bientôt les résultats complets de ce coursing national qui avait lieu sur le site de Beringen, une journée très agréable et conviviale malgré un vent fort et une fraîcheur digne des Saint de glace de mai.

Last Belgian coursing for the selection of European Championship, Hunting Free Inexcess (bitch) and  Hunting Free Klinton (dog) represent our country in Italy in late June, congratulations to you both and the buddy of Hunting Free Klinton which I co-organize everyday his training and to those of all breeds who will represent Belgium ;-) Here is the photo of the young Hunting Free Lord progressing in each event, soon the complete results of the national coursing which took place on the site of Beringen a very pleasant and enjoyable day despite a strong wind and freshness worthy of Saints of Ice in May

Les yeux sont ouverts, ils apprennent à marcher, ils jouent ensembles (leurs caractères se dévoilent) et ils découvriront qu’il n’y a pas que les mamelles de leur maman qui sont intéressantes et délicieuses ;)…

The eyes are open, they learn to walk, they play together (their characters reveal themselves) and they will discover that there is not the breasts of their mothers that are interesting and delicious;) ...

Ceci n’est pas un « poisson », ma décision est irrévocable : suite à ce qu’osent dire certains minoritaires (il vaut mieux parfois être sourd que d’entendre de telle chose), j’arrête toute organisation de coursing !

Je tiens toutefois à remercier encore sincèrement toutes les autres personnes du club et amis, eux vrais passionnés, qui apportent des critiques constructives dans un esprit convivial et dans l’intérêt du club…

This is not an "april fish," my decision is irrevocable after that dare to say some minority (it is sometimes better to be deaf than to hear of such a thing), I stop any organization in coursing!
However, I would still like to sincerely thank all the other people in the club and friends, themselves true passionnate, which provide constructive criticism in a friendly spirit and in the interest of the club ...

En ce jour du Coursing international de Beringen, sous un beau soleil, la jeune « Dixietown Fia Jansson » a passé avec succès ses 2 derniers bien-tournés, en compagnie de « Hunting Free Joyce » dite Kiwi : félicitations à ses copropriétaires et tous ceux qui s’occupent si bien d’elle au quotidien : « Fia » confirme sa motivation et sa joie ! Elle débutera peut-être les compétitions de coursing dès le mois prochain…

La cotation des juges était parfois surprenante mais la configuration du terrain (petit, en « L » et parsemé d’arbres ou de bosquets) ne permettait pas aux lévriers de s’exprimer complètement et cela ne devait pas être facile pour les juges de trouver de quoi les départager. La dernière place (avec un bas pointage) de « Hunting Free InExcess » est vraiment incompréhensible ( ?) et le Ch. « Celtic Free Hunter » a été retiré par précaution (et confirmé par le contrôle vétérinaire de la mi journée pour les moins de 2 ans et plus de 6 ans) vu une légère raideur du poignet suite à un contact avec son coéquipier au dernier virage.

Voici les résultats : en whippets mâles, « Hunting Free Lord » termine 11^ème sur 19 et « Hunting Free Klinton » termine dernier, alors qu’il a été gêné dans sa course par son coéquipier, plus occupé par lui, que par le leurre et ce dernier n’a même pas été disqualifié ou excusé, il a même reçu un point de plus ( ?) et en whippets femelles, également une dernière place pour l’excellente « Hunting Free InExcess » ( ?!)…

On this day of the International Coursing in Beringen , under a bright sun , the young " Dixietown Fia Jansson " has passed her last 2 well- turned , along with " Hunting  Free Joyce " (Kiwi) : congratulations to his owners and all those involved so her daily, " Fia " confirms her motivation and joy ! She may start coursing competitions next month ...

The pointing of the judges was sometimes surprising but the ground ( small "L" and dotted with trees or bushes ) did not allow sighthounds to express themselves fully and it should not be easy for the judges to find what the tie. Last place ( with a low score ) to " Hunting Free Inexcess " is really incomprehensible (?) And Ch " Celtic Free Hunter " was removed as a precaution ( and confirmed by the veterinary inspection midday for less 2 years and more 6 years) regarding a slight stiffness of the wrist after contact with his teammate at the last turn .

Here are the results : in whippets dogs, " Hunting Free Lord " finished 11th on 19 and " Hunting Free Klinton " finished last one, when he was hampered in his race by teammate longer occupied by him than by the lure and this one has not even been disqualified or excused , he even received one more point (?) and in whippets bitches, also last place to the excellent " Hunting Free Inexcess " ( ! ) ...
