Aujourd'hui 1er anniversaire de ce site ! Je remercie les visiteurs qui l'ont parcouru à plus de 3200 reprises, qui ont apprécié mes chiens, le récit de leurs vie et de leurs résultats, ou, tout simplement, qui ont découvert ou appris à connaître cette race merveilleuse et attachante qu'est le Whippet.

Today is the first anniversary of this site ! I thank the visitors who have browsed through the pages more than 3200 times, who appreciated my dogs, the stories of their lives and their results, or simply have discovered or learned about this wonderful and charming breed that is the Whippet.

Dernière compétition de l'année, organisée par le club de Beringen à Merksplas. Ch. Hunting Free Challenger se classe 5ème/25, Hunting Free Ispeedo 8ème, Celtic Free Hunter 15ème, et Ch. Hunting Free Dinky 22ème. Chez les filles: Hunting Free Eternity finit 5ème/18 devant Hunting Free Inexcess, 6ème.

En Sprinters, Hunting Free Dreamer est retiré par prudence, suite à une chute lors du 1er parcours. Il remporte toutefois le titre honorifique de Meilleur Sprinter de l'Année.

Exposition Internationale de Luxembourg. Hunting Free Hermione obtient 1er Excellent-CACL et termine ainsi son Championnat de Luxembourg ! Félicitations ma belle !

Hunting Free Gentleman se classe 2ème Très Bon, ce sera pour la prochaine fois !

Luxembourg International Dog Show. Hunting Free Hermione got 1st Excellent-CACL and her Luxembourg Championship is now finished ! Congratulations, my dear !

Hunting Free Gentleman was placed 2nd Very Good. It will be for the next time !

Coursing de Sint-Pieters Rode, merci au club de Westerlo pour cette belle journée de compétition, sous un beau soleil automnal. Un terrain très long et plat, de longues lignes droites et une partie technique, permettaient de mettre en valeur les grandes races et déroutaient parfois certains whippets. Le niveau des whippets en Belgique est excellent, pour preuve beaucoup de points ex æquo surtout chez les mâles. Mais il était parfois déroutant de constater que certains whippets qui n’avaient pas du tout effectué le même type de course le matin, se retrouvaient avec les mêmes points pour courir ensembles l’après-midi. Il me semble important que les juges gardent à l’esprit une même échelle de points suivant l’attitude des lévriers afin qu’une logique soit respectée course après course, mais ce n’est là que mon avis personnel et il est évident que ce n’est pas facile vu le nombre de participants bien entendu. Concernant les femelles, à noter le retrait pour blessure de la Ch. Hunting Free Goldie, sans gravité mais qui avait une patte raide à l’échauffement juste avant le second tour. Je l’ai retirée sans regret car, malgré sa très bonne course du matin, elle avait reçu les mêmes points qu’une femelle hésitant à courir ! Hunting Free InExcess termine 3ème, Hunting Free Isis 5ème, Hunting Free Ines 8ème, Hunting Free Hera 9ème et Hunting Free Eternity 18ème sur 20, cette dernière ayant perdu le leurre en seconde manche. Concernant les mâles, le Multi Ch. Hunting Free Dinky termine 5ème, Ch.* Hunting Free Gentleman 9ème, Le Multi Ch. Hunting Free Cartouch 12ème pour sa dernière compétition, Hunting Free Hutchinson 13ème, Celtic Free Hunter 17ème, le Multi Ch. Hunting Free Challenger 20ème et le GPX winner Hunting Free Ispeedo 24ème sur 26 suite à une seconde manche où il a décidé de prendre le même chemin que le matin alors que le leurre partait tout au bout du terrain : une petite erreur de jeunesse pour ce jeune mâle plus que prometteur ! Concernant les sprinters, Hunting Free Dreamer termine 3ème sur 5 ! Félicitations à tous vos whippets qui ont encore une fois montré vitesse et motivation tout au long des parcours !!!

At the Sint-Pieters Rode coursing, thank you to the Westerlo club for this beautiful day of competition, under a beautiful autumnal sun . A very long and flat ground, long straight lines and a technical part made it possible to highlight the big races and diverted sometimes some whippets. The level of the whippets in Belgium is excellent, for evidence much of points ex æquo especially in the dogs. But it was sometimes confusing that some whippets who had not performed the same type of race in the morning, found themselves with the same points to run together in the afternoon. It seems to me important that judges keep in mind the same point scale according to the attitude of the sighthounds that logic be respected race after race, but this is only my personal opinion and it is clear that is not easy regarding the number of participants, of course.  About the bitches, just note the withdrawal for injury of CH. Hunting Free Goldie, without gravity but which had a stiff leg during the heating just before the second race. I withdrew her without regret because, despite of her very good race in the morning, she had received the same points as a bitch hesitating to run! Hunting Free InExcess finishes 3rd, Hunting Free Isis 5th, Hunting Free Ines 8th, Hunting Free Hera 9th and Hunting Free Eternity 18th on 20, this last having lost the lure in second race. About the dogs, Multi CH. Hunting Free Dinky finishes 5th, Ch.* Hunting Free Gentleman 9th, Multi CH. Hunting Free Cartouch 12th for his last competition, Hunting Free Hutchinson 13th, Celtic Free Hunter 17th, Multi CH. Hunting Free Challenger 20th and the GPX winner Hunting Free Ispeedo 24th on 26 following a second round where he decided to take the same path as the morning when the lure was leaving at the end of the field: a little youthful for this very promising young male! Regarding the sprinters, Hunting Free Dreamer finishes 3rd on 5! Congratulations with all your whippets which once again showed speed and motivation throughout the races!!!

A la PVL spéciale de Rougé (F), d’excellents résultats pour les cousins : sur 24 participants et sur un terrain très sélectif dans le cadre merveilleux du Swin Golf, avec un accueil comme chaque fois chaleureux de la part des propriétaires du site et des membres du club, Celtic Free Hunter se classe 8ème et Multi Ch. Hunting Free Gibson 12ème, tous deux avec le qualificatif Excellent, permettant à ce dernier d’homologuer son titre de Champion de France de PVL (coursing) TPO (*) ! GIBSON est le 1er "Hunting Free" à pouvoir obtenir ce titre (*), un bel hommage à ses grands-parents, les Multi Ch. Scaramouch et Horsewip Gold New Look Dondelayo !!! Mes félicitations toutes particulières à Patricia car c’est le 3ème (*) titre de Champion cette année pour Hunting Free Gibson !!! En conclusion, un superbe week-end en France avec une excellente ambiance, d’excellents jugements et encore un grand merci à Solange pour son accueil !!! Vivement l’année prochaine…

At the PVL Specialty in Rougé (F), excellent results for the cousins: on 24 entries and on a very selective ground in the marvellous framework of the Swin Golf with a cordial reception like each time by the owners of the site and the members of the club, Celtic Free Hunter is placed 8th and Multi Ch. Hunting Free Gibson 12th, both with the Excellent qualification, allowing this last one the homologation of PVL (coursing) French Champion F.TPO (*)! GIBSON is 1st “Hunting Free” that being able to obtain this title (*), a nice homage to his grandparents, the Multi Ch. Scaramouch and Horsewip Gold New Look Dondelayo!!! My congratulations all particular to Patricia because it is the 3rd (*) championship title this year for Hunting Free Gibson!!! In conclusion, a superb weekend in France with an excellent environment, excellent judgements and still a large thank to Solange for her reception!!! Greatly the next year…

Mes parents, quant à eux, étaient présents au Championnat du Club au cynodrome d’Awans : journée qui rassemble une compétition de Racing et un hommage aux jeunes et vieux lévriers du club, avec un prix spécial pour ceux qui terminent leurs carrières à l’âge de 8 ans. Sur la photo, la sœur et le frère Multi Champions qui auront marqué le coursing de leurs empreintes : HUNTING FREE CHELSEA et HUNTING FREE CARTOUCH, sans oublier URSULA ANDRESS DU HARAS D’HELIOS primée en beauté et à quelques coursings ! Pour ce qui est de la compétition, en finale, HUNTING FREE GREASE termine 3ème et HUNTING FREE HUTCHINSON termine 4ème! Félicitations à eux ! - 

My parents, meanwhile, were present at the Club Championship on the racing track in Awans: a day that brings together a  Racing competition and an homage to the young and old sighthounds of the club, with a special price for those which finish their careers at the age of 8. On the picture, sister and brother Multi Champions which will have marked the coursing with their excellent coursings: HUNTING FREE CHELSEA and HUNTING FREE CARTOUCH, without forgetting URSULA ANDRESS DU HARAS D’HELIOS with excellent results in beauty and in some coursings ! Regarding the competition, in the finals, HUNTING FREE GREASE finished 3rd and HUNTING FREE HUTCHINSON finished 4th ! Congratulations to them!

Encore un excellent samedi en France lors du Coursing (PVL) international à Laferté Sur Amance : que demander de plus ? Une victoire en mâle, un soleil radieux, des terrains magnifiques, un club sympathique avec des repas conviviaux ainsi que d’agréables moments passés entre amis sincères, dans le respect de chacun ! Merci à tous pour ce beau week-end !!! Voici les résultats en mâles (15 participants) : le Multi Ch. (LSP & IC) HUNTING FREE GIBSON remporte la 1ère place avec le CACP ! Félicitations Patricia ! Le GPX winner HUNTING FREE ISPEEDO termine à une très belle 4ème place mais le seul regret est pour CELTIC FREE HUNTER qui termine à la 13ème place (une course moyenne le matin, certes, mais une belle course efficace l’après-midi avec tentative de capture et virage serré) en ne récoltant que 2 points de plus que son concurrent de l’après-midi qui ne parvenait pas à courir correctement suite à des crampes, semble-t-il… Ceci est une simple constatation et pas une critique. Voici les résultats en femelles (18 participantes) : HUNTING FREE HERMIONE termine à une très belle 3ème place, suivie de sa sœur HUNTING FREE HERA à la 6ème place, HUNTING FREE ISIS à la 7ème place, HUNTING FREE INES à la 8ème place, Ch. HUNTING FREE GOLDIE à la 13ème place et SR HUNTING FREE EVINRUDE dernière, ayant montré trop d’expérience aux poulies. Félicitations à tous !!!

An excellent Saturday again in France at the international Coursing (PVL) in Laferté Sur Amance: what to expect moreover? A victory in male, a radiant sun, splendid grounds, a friendly club with convivial meals as well as pleasant moments spent between sincere friends, in respect of each one! Thank you all for this beautiful weekend !!! Here results in males (15 entries): Multi CH. (LSP & IC) HUNTING FREE GIBSON win the 1st place with the CACP !  Congratulations, Patricia ! The GPX winner HUNTING FREE ISPEEDO finished at a very beautiful 4th place but the only regret is for CELTIC FREE HUNTER which finished at the 13th place (an average race in the morning, certainly, but a beautiful race in the afternoon with attempt at capture and tight turn) by collecting only 2 points moreover than his competitor of the afternoon which did not manage to run correctly due to following cramps, seems it… This is a simple observation and not a criticism. Here results in bitches (18 entries): HUNTING FREE HERMIONE finished at a very beautiful 3rd place, followed by her sister HUNTING FREE HERA at the 6th place, HUNTING FREE ISIS at the 7th place, HUNTING FREE INES at the 8th place, CH. HUNTING FREE GOLDIE at the 13th place and the last SR HUNTING FREE EVINRUDE, having shown too much experiment with the turnings. Congratulations to all !!!

Encore un magnifique dimanche pour les Hunting Free, au coursing international de Conty., près d'Amiens (F).  Deux très beaux terrains, l'un plus technique et l'autre privilégiant l'endurance., et des concurrents de grande qualité, nous ont valu de très belles courses.

Chez les mâles (28 participants), Hunting Free Ispeedo remporte la première place, le CACP et son premier CACIL, devant Ch. Hunting Free Gibson, qui reçoit la RCACP, et Celtic Free Hunter, qui obtient la RCACIL (pour ce dernier, jamais 2 sans 3, puisqu'il s'agit de sa 3ème RCACIL en 3 coursings internationaux !!!). Hunting Free Hutchinson est classé 6ème, Ch. Hunting Free Dinky, 13ème, et Ch. Hunting Free Cartouch, 15ème (c'était son dernier coursing à l'étranger), tous avec un Excellent.

Chez les filles (21 participantes), Hunting Free Hermione se classe 10ème Excellent en ne récoltant qu’un pointage moyen malgré une excellente seconde manche, ne perdant jamais la tête de la course, virant court et laissant sur place sa concurrente pour l’endurance : ce fût une des plus belles courses de sa jeune carrière ! Ch. Hunting Free Goldie finit 17ème Excellent, suite à une perte du leurre l’après-midi en fin de parcours , et Hunting Free Eternity, 19ème Très Bon.

Félicitations à tous et plus particulièrement à Fabienne et Patricia dont les 2 mâles ont  réellement fait 2 courses sensationnelles !!

Hunting Free Ispeedo

A wonderful Sunday again for the Hunting Free, at the international lure coursing competition in Conty, near Amiens (F). Two very beautiful grounds, one more technic, and the other focusing on endurance, and competitors of high quality, have earned us some great races.

In dogs (28 entries), Hunting Free Ispeedo won the first place, the CACP and his first CACIL, just in front of Ch. Hunting Free Gibson, which received the RCACP. and Celtic Free Hunter, which got once again the RCACIL (never 2 without 3, it was his 3rd RCACIL in 3 international lure coursing competitions !).

Hunting Free Hutchinson is placed 6th, Ch. Hunting Free Dinky, 13th, and Ch. Hunting Free Cartouch, 15th (it was his last foreign competition !), all with an Excellent.

In the bitches (21 entries), Hunting Free Hermione finished 10th Excellent, receiving only a medium pointage despite of a very good second turn, never losing the head of the race, turning shortly and leaving her rival on place for endurance: it should be one of the nicest race of his young career! Ch. Hunting Free Goldie finished 17th Excellent, because of a loss of the lure in  the afternoon at the end of race, and Hunting Free Eternity, 19th Very Good.

Congratulations to all, especially to Fabienne & Patricia, their two boys really made two splendid races !!.

28 AOÛT 2011

Pour le dernier dimanche de ce mois, au Championnat de France de Coursing, un très beau classement le matin pour la jeune Hunting Free InExcess et le Ch. Hunting Free Gibson mais pas de chance l’après-midi (choc de l’autre femelle pour l’une et leurre à contre-sens pour le second d’où une chute dans le classement respectivement 11^ème et 21^ème alors que deux mâles ayant perdu le leurre se classent en meilleure position. Soit… il me reste 2 excellents souvenirs de ce dimanche : la superbe course le matin de 2 véritables chasseurs : le Ch. Hunting Free Gibson avec le Ch. Azzaro du Domaine des Chojnacki et le superbe classement de 2 whippets nés en Belgique (Championne de France & Vice Champion de France: félicitations aux heureux propriétaires) ! A noter aussi la très belle 2^ème course de SR Hunting Free Evinrude malgré une chute le matin dans une cuvette du terrain où beaucoup de lévriers se faisaient surprendre ! Seul regret de ce dimanche, le retrait de la compétition du Ch. Hunting Free Dragon qui, du haut de ses 7 ans et demi, a tenté une capture du leurre en contre sens, ce qui lui a valu un blocage au bas du dos, vite oublié après un massage agréable chez l’ostéopathe…

For last Sunday of this month, in the French Lure Coursing Championship, a very beautiful classification in the morning for the young Hunting Free InExcess and CH. Hunting Free Gibson but no chance in the afternoon (shock with the other  bitch for one and a lure in against direction for the second  with consequence a fall in the classification respectively 11th and 21st whereas two dogs having lost the lure are classified in better position. That is to say… there remain to me 2 excellent memories of this Sunday: the superb race in the morning of 2 true hunters: CH. Hunting Free Gibson with CH. Azzaro du Domaine des Chojnacki and the superb classification of 2 whippets born in Belgium (French Champion in bitches & Vice French Champion in dogs: congratulations with the happy owners) ! To also note the very beautiful 2nd race of SR Hunting Free Evinrude despite of a fall in a basin of the ground where many sighthounds were made surprised in the morning! Only regret of this Sunday, withdrawal of the competition of CH. Hunting Free Dragon which, on the top of his 7 years and half, tried a capture of the lure in against direction, which was worth to him a blocking with the bottom of the back, quickly forgotten after a pleasant massage at the osteopath…

Au Coursing du Grand Prix de Belgique, le jeune Hunting Free Ispeedo (à Mr et Mme Bron-Bayenet) termine Meilleur Petites races, Meilleur du Jour, Vainqueur du Grand Prix et qualifié pour le Championnat d’Europe 2012 ! Félicitations Fabienne et Philippe, il a amplement mérité ce résultat en bénéficiant d’un 20/20 en ardeur par les 2 juges placés chacun aux opposés du terrain !!!

Celtic Free Hunter termine 4è/20, Ch. Hunting Free Cartouch 7è/20, Ch. Hunting Free Gibson 10è/20, Ch. Hunting Free Dinky 17è/20 & en sprinter Hunting Free Dreamer 4è/4. Et chez les filles: 4è/12 Hunting Free Eternity, 8è/12 Ch. Hunting Free Goldie & 10è/12 Hunting Free Hermione suite à une chute sans gravité. Félicitations à tous !

At the Belgian Lure Coursing  Grand Prix, the young Hunting Free Ispeedo (owners: Mr. and Mrs. Bron-Bayenet) finished Best of Small Breeds, Best of Day,  Grand Prix Winner and qualified for the European Championship in 2012 ! Congratulations Fabienne and Philippe, it amply deserved this result by profiting from one 20/20 in motivation by the 2 judges placed each one in a opposite side in the ground !!!
Celtic Free Hunter was placed 4th/20, Ch. Hunting Free Cartouch 7th/20, Ch. Hunting Free Gibson 10th/20, Ch. Hunting Free Dinky 17th/20 & in Sprinters class, Hunting Free Dreamer was 4th/4. The bitches: Hunting Free Eternity, 4th/12, Ch. Hunting Free Goldie 8th/12 & Hunting Free Hermione 10th/12, following a not serious fall. Congratulations to all !

Hunting Free Kensington & Hunting Free Klinton

24 JUILLET 2011:

Super dimanche ce 24 juillet à l’Exposition Internationale de Liège pour les HUNTING FREE qui ont tous reçu le qualificatif EXCELLENT sous les jugements de Mr Louis Dehaes excepté pour Ch.* HUNTING FREE GIBSON qui ne s’est malheureusement pas bien présenté d’où une sanction du juge malgré ses qualités. La jeune FREEDOM DU DOMAINE DES CHOJNACKI a également reçu le qualificatif EXCELLENT pour sa première participation, ce qui lui donne droit au certificat d’admission à l’élevage ! Concernant le Challenge Beauté Performance (combinant les résultats du Coursing de Vien et de l’Expo de Liège), je suis très fière de HUNTING FREE HERMIONE qui remporte la 1^ère place en whippet femelle, suivie de Ch. HUNTING FREE GOLDIE en 3^ème position ! Chez les mâles, CELTIC FREE HUNTER remporte la 2^ème place ! Félicitations à tous !!!

Super Sunday this July 24th, at the International Show of Liege for the HUNTING FREE which all received the EXCELLENT qualifications under the judgements of Mr. Louis Dehaes except for Ch.* HUNTING FREE GIBSON which unfortunately did not show well thus received a sanction by the judge despite of his qualities. The young FREEDOM DU DOMAINE DES CHOJNACKI also received the EXCELLENT qualification for her first participation, which gives her right to the Admission to breed Certificate ! Regarding the Challenge Beauty Performance (combining the results of Coursing in Vien and Show of Liege), I’m very proud of HUNTING FREE HERMIONE which gains the 1st place in whippet bitches, followed by CH. HUNTING FREE GOLDIE in 3rd place! In the dogs, CELTIC FREE HUNTER won the 2nd place! Congratulations to all !!!

Hunting Free Kalista & Volgaï'as Xaida

16 JUILLET 2011:

Au Championnat d’Europe de Coursing en Hollande le 16 juillet, une très belle 12^ème place pour le Multi Ch. HUNTING FREE CARTOUCH qui, du haut de ses presque 8 ans, s’est placé dans le haut du classement, face à un total de 63 mâles ! Félicitations Monique !!! Chez les femelles, moins de chance vu les pertes de leurre du matin (cela arrive…) HUNTING FREE ETERNITY termine 49^ème sur 56 femelles au départ et HUNTING FREE INEXCESS a été excusée le matin alors qu’elle a cherché le leurre perdu pendant de très longues minutes ; mais bon, nous sommes à un Championnat d’Europe et la moindre faute est fortement pénalisée. L’organisation avait de très beaux terrains permettant de longs circuits mais il était étonnant de voir certains lévriers courir seuls alors que ce n’était pas mentionné lors du montage des paires et que des réservistes étaient prêts et présents sur place pour la plupart des pays concernés. Et, ceci est ma seule critique car organiser un Championnat n’est pas facile surtout sous la pluie,  certains préfèrent encore engager un lévrier qui n’est pas en condition pour juste prendre le départ : décidément ceux-là n’ont pas l’esprit d’équipe malheureusement, ni le respect de leur lévrier et ce n’est pas la première fois que je constate cela, heureusement ils ne sont qu’une très petite minorité car nous avons une grande passion pour nos lévriers avant toute compétition … !

At the European Lure Coursing Championship in Holland on July 16th, a very beautiful 12th place for Multi Ch. HUNTING FREE CARTOUCH which, of the top of his almost 8 years old, was placed in the top of the classification, out of a total of 63 dogs! Congratulations, Monique!!! In the bitches, less chance considering the losses of lure in the morning (that happens…) HUNTING FREE ETERNITY finished 49^th out of 56 bitches and HUNTING FREE INEXCESS was excused the morning whereas she sought the lure lost during very long minutes; but we are in an European Championship and the least fault is strongly penalized. The organization had very beautiful grounds allowing of long circuits but it was astonishing to see some sighthounds  running alone whereas it was not mentioned during the assembly of the pairs and that reservists were ready and present on the ground for the majority of the countries concerned. And, this is my only criticism because to organize a Championship is not easy especially under the rain, that some people prefer enter a sighthound which is not in condition just to be in the start: definitely those one do not have the team spirit unfortunately, nor the respect of their sighthound and it is not the first time that I notice that, fortunately they are only a very small minority because we have a great passion for our sighthounds before all competitions …!

Exposition du Club des Lévriers, ce 26 juin dans un superbe endroit touristique au Luxembourg sous un soleil de plomb et un beau château : Ch. (*) "Hunting Free Gentleman" obtient le qualificatif 2ème EXCELLENT RCACL, "Hunting Free Hermione" obtient le qualificatif 1ère EXCELLENT CACL (les deux en Classe Travail) et, pour sa dernière exposition, "Hunting Free Breakdance" obtient le titre de CHAMPIONNE DU LUXEMBOURG VETERAN (*) et termine 3ème BIS Vétéran sur le ring d’honneur, un bel hommage pour une petite femelle qui s’est toujours donnée à 110% en exposition, mais surtout en coursing ! Félicitations à tous pour ces superbes résultats !!!

Clubmatch Sighthound Show  this June 26th in a superb touristic place near Luxembourg under a blazing sun and a beautiful castle: CH. (*) “Hunting Free Gentleman” won the qualification “2nd EXCELLENT RCACL”, “Hunting Free Hermione” obtained the qualification “1st EXCELLENT CACL” (both in working class) and, for her last show, “Hunting Free Breakdance” got the  LUXEMBOURG VETERAN CHAMPIONSHIP (*) and finishesd 3rd BIS Veteran on the  main ring, a nice homage for a small bitch which was always given to 110% in show but especially in lure coursing! Congratulations with all for these superb results!!! ”

Nous voici de retour de France, près de Nancy, dans le cadre magnifique du Château de Gerbéviller, malgré une météo hésitant entre pluie et soleil, avec un nouveau titre de Champion : "Hunting Free Gentleman" y remporte le CACIL et pourra ainsi homologuer son titre de CHAMPION INTERNATIONAL DE COURSING (*) ! Félicitations à Patricia, Colette et leurs familles qui l’entourent de beaucoup d’affection, de soins et d’entraînement afin de l’amener à un si haut niveau !!! Son frère Ch.(*) "Hunting Free Gibson" termine à la 2^ème place avec la RCACP, lui permettant d’espérer, tout comme son père, une qualification pour le Championnat de France de PVL fin août (Coursing). Multi Ch. "Hunting Free Dragon" termine avant-dernier malgré 2 belles courses athlétiques, mais démontrant un peu trop d’expérience sur un circuit très prévisible pour les lévriers, surtout sur le parcours du matin. "Celtic Free Hunter" remporte la RCACIL … le titre est proche pour lui également ! Chez les filles : "Hunting Free InExcess" termine à la 3^ème place, lui permettant aussi d’espérer une qualification pour le Championnat de France de PVL (Coursing) fin août, tout comme "Hunting Free Hermione" qui termine à la 5^ème place avec un superbe 2^ème parcours (avec 4 dépassements sur son concurrent) et Ch. "Hunting Free Goldie" termine à la 9^ème place. Tous ont obtenu le qualificatif Excellent. Je suis très fière de tous et j’ai passé un superbe WE en compagnie d’amies sincères !!!

 We came back from France, close to Nancy, within the splendid place of  Gerbéviller Castle, despite of a weather hesitating between rain and sun, with a new champion: “Hunting Free Gentleman” gained the CACIL there and will be able to thus approve his INTERNATIONAL LURE COURSING CHAMPION (*) reward ! Congratulations to Patricia, Colette and their families which surround him by much affection, care and drive in order to bring him to so high level !!! His brother CH. (*) “Hunting Free Gibson” finished in the 2nd place with RCACP, enabling him to hope, just like his father, a qualification for the French Coursing Championship at the end of August. Multi CH. “Hunting Free Dragon” finished before the last despite of 2 beautiful athletic races but showing a little too much experiment on a very foreseeable circuit for the sighthounds, especially on the morning race. “Celtic Free Hunter” won the RCACIL… the title is close for him also! By the girls: “Hunting Free InExcess” finished in the 3^rd place, also enabling her to hope for a qualification for the French Coursing Championship at the end of August, just like “Hunting Free Hermione” which finished in the 5th place with a superb 2nd race (with 4 goings beyond on her competitor) and CH. “Hunting Free Goldie” finished in the 9th place. All obtained the “excellent” qualification, I am very proud of all and I passed a superb WE in company of sincere friends!!!”

A l’exposition de race du Club Belge du Whippet du dimanche 5 juin, de beaux résultats surtout pour "Ch. Hunting Free Goldie" qui a reçu le qualificatif Excellent en classe champion, "Hunting Free Hermione" termine 1^ère Très Bon en classe travail & "Hunting Free Gibson" termine 3^ème Très Bon en classe travail, tous avec de très beaux commentaires !

During the Belgian Whippet Club specialty show, on Sunday June 5th, beautiful results especially for “CH. Hunting Free Goldie” which received Excellent in champion class, “Hunting Free Hermione” finishd 1st  Very Good, “Hunting Free Gibson” finished 3rd Very Good both in working class, all with very beautiful comments!

MAI 2011

  21 MAI 2011:
Au Coursing international de Vien fin mai : un terrain très sélectif et qui, de ce fait, ne plait pas à tous dès lors que leur whippet perd le leurre. Mes deux femelles ont aussi perdu le leurre et je n’en ai pas fait un scandale. Comme l’a toujours dit un grand monsieur du coursing "En coursing, il y a un premier et un dernier, et les mauvais perdants on ne les voit pas très longtemps, il faut être fair-play… ".
Voici les résultats… Chez les filles : un superbe résultat pour la jeune "Hunting Free InExcess" qui termine 2ème RCACBL sur 28 femelles, 4ème "Hunting Free Eternity", 8ème "Hunting Free Hera", 12ème "Hunting Free Isis", 14ème "Hunting Free Ines", 18ème "Ch. Hunting Free Goldie" & 24ème "Hunting Free Hermione". Chez les garcons: une superbe 3ème place sur 30 mâles pour "Celtic Free Hunter" avec le RCACIL (à une réserve près il était champion, ce sera pour une prochaine fois mon gamin, ce résultat prouve ses qualités de chasseur !), 6ème "Hunting Free Gibson", 14ème "Hunting Free Ispeedo" & "Ch. Hunting Free Dinky"  & 18ème "Ch. Hunting Free Dragon". Chez les sprinters, une superbe 1ère place pour "Hunting Free Dreamer" sur 7 participants mixtes! Félicitations à tous !!!

At the end of May, in Vien, the international coursing took place on a very selective ground and, therefore, it didn’t please to some people as soon as their whippet lost lure, my two bitches have also lost the lure and I have not done a scandal. As always said a great man of coursing "In coursing, there is a first and a last, and the sore losers are not seen very long time, there should be fair play ...."
Here are the results ... The girls: a superb result for the young "Hunting Free Inexcess" which is 2^nd/28 bitches and RCACBL, 4th "Hunting Free Eternity," 8th "Hunting Free Hera", 12th "Hunting Free Isis," 14th "Hunting Free Ines”, 18th "Ch. Hunting Free Goldie”, and 24^th "Hunting Free Hermione". The boys: a superb third place / 30 for “Celtic Free Hunter" with the RCACIL (very close to his championchip as he needs only one CACIL ! It will be for the next time my kid! This result proves his qualities as a hunter!), 6^th “Hunting Free Gibson”, 14^th “Hunting FreeFree Ispeedo" & "Ch. Hunting Free Dinky", 18th “Ch. Hunting Free Dragon”. Among the sprinters, a superb first place for "Hunting Free Dreamer” out of 7 mixed participants! Congratulations to all!

Pour notre 3^ème compétition en France, nous voici de retour avec un résultat dont on peut être réellement fier puisque obtenu à l’un des rassemblements les plus importants de Whippets en France : la Nationale d’Elevage (samedi 7 mai : exposition et dimanche 8 mai : coursing) au cynodrome de Soissons. Un très bel endroit avec une excellente organisation. Au coursing (PVL), "Hunting Free Gibson" remporte la 1^ère place avec un CACP ayant valeur de Championnat sur 40 mâles inscrits, confirmant ses qualités athlétiques ! Félicitations Patricia !!! Sa sœur "Ch. Hunting Free Goldie" se hisse sur la 3^ème place du podium avec une très belle 2^ème course digne d’un manuel de chasse ! Ils sont bien les dignes descendants de leurs grands-parents : "Multi Ch. Scaramouch" et "Multi Ch. Horsewip Gold New Look Dondelayo". Leur cousin "Celtic Free Hunter" et le jeune "Hunting Free Ispeedo" terminent au pied du podium à la 7^ème place. "Multi Ch. Hunting Free Dragon" termine à la 12^ème place. "SR Hunting Free Evinrude" termine 14^ème et "Hunting Free Hermione" termine 26^ème sur 34 et avec un Très Bon à l’exposition en classe travail. Tous ont obtenu le qualificatif EXCELLENT au coursing (PVL). Félicitations à tous et merci à ceux qui nous ont félicités sincèrement pour cette victoire !

For our 3rd competition in France, here we are back home with a really trust result in the one of the most important competition of Whippets in France: the Speciality Show and lure Coursing (Saturday 7^th of May: show and Sunday 8^th of May: lure coursing) in Soissons Racing track. It’s a very beautiful place with an excellent organization. In the lure coursing (PVL), “Hunting Free Gibson” gains the 1st place with a CACP having value of Championship over 40 entered dogs, confirming his athletic qualities!  Congratulations, Patricia !!! His sister “CH. Hunting Free Goldie” go on the 3rd place of the podium with a very beautiful 2nd race worthy of a hunting handbook ! They are well the worthy descendants of their grandparents: “Multi CH. Scaramouch” and “Multi CH. Horsewip Gold New Look Dondelayo”. Their cousin “Celtic Free Hunter” and the young “Hunting Free Ispeedo” finishes near the podium on the 7th place. “Multi CH. Hunting Free Dragon” finishes on the 12th place. “SR Hunting Free Evinrude” finishes 14th and “Hunting Free Hermione” finishes 26th over 34 females and with a “Very Good” in show in the working class. All obtained the “excellent” qualification in the lure coursing (PVL). Congratulations to all and thank you to those which sincerely congratulated us for this victory!

For the 1st day of May: excellent results at the international dog show in Amiens (F) judged by Mr. Magré (F): in the dogs “Hunting Free Ispeedo” finishes 2nd excellent in open class and “Hunting Free Gibson” finishes 1st excellent - CAC - CACIB in working class!!! Congratulations Patricia!!! In the bitches “Hunting Free Isatis” finishes with the excellent qualification in intermediate class and “Hunting Free Hermione” 1st excellent in open class! I am very proud of Gibson because it represents the spirit of the breeding “Hunting Free”, the research of the complete whippet, while gaining in 2 week-ends in a row one CACIL in international coursing and one CACIB in international show! …

AVRIL 2011

Tout d’abord, confirmation de gestation par échographie pour Dixietown Min Egen Metod : naissance des chiots prévue pour fin mai.

Ensuite, à nouveau d’excellents résultats pour les "Hunting Free" en ce week-end de Pâques, au Coursing international de Laferté sur Amance (F) le 23 avril : un terrain plus que sélectif puisque l’herbe y était assez haute et le soleil très chaud ! Chez les filles, "Hunting Free Hermione" y remporte la 2^ème place avec RCACP & CACIL (son 2^ème CACIL pour le mois d’avril 2011) et "Hunting Free Goldie" y remporte la 4^ème place avec la RCACIL sur 10 femelles ! Chez les mâles, encore mieux, les 3 premières places y sont remportées par 3 "Hunting Free" !!! 1^er avec CACP sur 9 mâles : le Multi Champion "Hunting Free Dragon", suivi de ses 2 fils : 2^ème avec RCACP & CACIL et qui devient de ce fait CHAMPION INTERNATIONAL DE COURSING* ! (*en cours d’homologation) : "HUNTING FREE GIBSON" ! La 3^ème place avec RCACIL est remportée par "Hunting Free Gentleman", félicitations aux Patricia’s et à Coco !!! Dans la 2^ème moitié du classement, se classe le jeune "Hunting Free Ispeedo" avec un excellent pointage et "Celtic Free Hunter" s’étant perdu le matin, comme beaucoup de lévriers…

Enfin, il est à noter que "Hunting Free Gibson" a obtenu le 10^ème titre de Champion de Coursing de l’élevage : discipline qui est très importante à mes yeux car elle représente ce pourquoi les lévriers ont été créés !

First of all, confirmation of gestation by echography for Dixietown Min Egen Metod: birth of pups planned for the end of May. Then, again excellent results for “Hunting Free” in this Easter week-end, at the international Coursing in Laferté Sur Amance (F) on the 23^rd of April: a ground more than selective since the grass was rather high there and very hot sun! For the girls, “Hunting Free Hermione” gains there the 2nd place with RCACP & CACIL (2nd CACIL for this month of April 2011) and “Hunting Free Goldie” gains the 4th place with RCACIL there over 10 bitches! For the dogs, much better, the first 3 places are gained there by 3 “Hunting Free”!!! 1st with CACP on 9 dogs: Multi Champion “Hunting Free Dragon” followed by its 2 sons: 2nd with RCACP & CACIL and which becomes of this fact INTERNATIONAL LURE COURSING CHAMPION*! (* homologation pending): “HUNTING FREE GIBSON”! The 3rd place with RCACIL is gained by “Hunting Free Gentleman”, congratulations Patricia's and Coco!!! In 2nd half of the results, the young “Hunting Free Ispeedo” with beautiful run with excellent points and “Celtic Free Hunter” this last who was lost in the morning like many sighthounds… Lastly, it’s noting that “Hunting Free Gibson” got the 10th Coursing Champion title of the kennel: discipline which is very important for me because it represents this why the sighthounds were created!

Après quelques journées de farniente au soleil, encore un excellent WE de compétitions les 9 & 10 avril pour les Hunting Free et surtout pour les filles ! Deux compétitions le même jour : le 1^er Racing dans notre club d’Awans où Hunting Free Grease termine 2^ème en finale C : félicitations, Nicole, Jules et Justine ! After a few days of idleness under the sun, again an excellent week-end in competitions these 9 & 10^th of April for the Hunting Free and especially for the girls! Hunting Free Gibson finishes 8th over 23 dogs and Celtic Free Hunter finishes 13th. A very beautiful ground in a very nice club and a quite sunny day!

MARS 2011

Lors du coursing de Vien le 27 mars, de très belles courses pour tous sauf pour Hunting Free Hermione (pourtant bien classée le matin et qui perd le leurre l’après-midi, cela arrive…) et Canoodle’s Free Fidje qui doit malheureusement mettre un terme à sa carrière suite à une tendinite récidivante mais sans gravité. Notons la victoire de Hunting Free Dreamer en catégorie sprinter, félicitations Lucien !!!

During the coursing of Vien on March 27, very beautiful races for all except for Hunting Free Hermione (however classified well the morning and which loses the lure the afternoon, that arrives…) and Canoodle's Free Fidje which must unfortunately put a term at her career following a tendonitis recidivist but without gravity. Let us note the victory of Hunting Free Dreamer in sprinter category, congratulations Lucien!!!

Lors de l’Exposition internationale du Luxembourg, le 26 mars : Hunting Free Goldie devient CHAMPIONNE DU LUXEMBOURG DE BEAUTE (* : en cours d’homologation) ainsi qu’Ursula Andress du Haras d’Helios qui, pour la dernière exposition de sa carrière, devient CHAMPIONNE DU LUXEMBOURG DE BEAUTE (VETERAN) (* : en cours d’homologation) mais également elle remporte la RESERVE BEST IN SHOW des vétérans toutes races confondues ! During the Luxembourg International dog show, on March 26th: Hunting Free Goldie became LUXEMBOURG SHOW CHAMPION (*: homologation pending) as Ursula Andress du Haras d’Helios which, for the last show of her career, became VETERAN LUXEMBOURG SHOW CHAMPION (*: homologation pending) but also she won RESERVE BEST IN SHOW (all breeds veteran)! Congratulations my “Pretty”!

Ce 19 mars est un jour important : voilà déjà 10 ans que naissait la 1^ère Hunting Free, une femelle unique comme vous le savez tous, mais qui a confirmé ma passion de l’élevage. Bon anniversaire "DiDi" ! Voici déjà 10 ans que l’élevage "Hunting Free" a vu le jour, né de ma passion pour le lévrier Whippet : élégant coursier et agréable compagnon de vie au sein de la famille ! Je tiens à remercier mes parents ; les heureux propriétaires de mes chiots ; ceux qui ont choisi de marier mes lignées ; ceux qui ont accepté que des whippets de leur élevage fassent partie de mon aventure ainsi que les juges de beauté, de coursing et de racing qui ont apprécié leurs qualités originelles ! De cette décennie, je n’en garde que les bons souvenirs : naissances, compétitions et amitiés… A bientôt pour de nombreuses années encore !

This March 19 is an important day: here are already 10 years which was born 1st Hunting Free, a special bitch as you all know it but which confirmed my passion for the breeding. Happy Birthday “DiDi”!

Here already 10 years ago that the "Hunting Free" kennel was born from my passion for the Whippet: a so elegant racer and a so pleasant family pet! I want to thank my parents; the happy owners of my puppies; those which choose to marry my bloodlines; those which accepted that whippets of their breeding belong to my adventure and also the show, lure coursing and racing judges who like their classical qualities! From this decade I keep in my memory only the good things: births, competitions and friendships… So see you soon for many years still!
